Certification Stages
First stage (application and completion of the APKE)
- Subscribe to the website of the APKE
- Update of the application’s course and right of access to the application of the APKE
- Completion by the participant of a profile from the APKE
2nd Stage (one-day training course)
- 8-hour duration
- Presentation of the theory of the circle model
- Summary presentation of the evaluation process
- Clinical laboratory based on the completed profiles of the participants
- Information and dissemination structure for parents
Third stage (certification procedure)
- Selection of participation by the participant
- Collection of an integrated incident assessment
- Evaluation of data by the respective instructor
- Instructor and user online supervisory meeting
- Time limit 1 to 2 months
Training in the APKE – the model of cycles.
The training in the model of cycles consists of 3 different but interrelated stages.
The duration of the training can vary from 1 to 2 months depending on the time constraints of the participant.
The training process is divided into three stages for a better and more detailed understanding of the theory of the circle model and the correct and certified use of the APKE during the competency of the participant.
In more detail,
Each certification process consists of 25 to 30 participants who during the first stage should have a two-year clinical experience and will measure their experience in the use of evaluation tools in the Greek language. All required information will be completed in the appropriate application and the interested parties will receive a reply two weeks before the training course. Eligible participants will gain access to the online application of the APKE and will have to complete a profile for their own incident and which will send to the trainers at least 3 days before the commencement of the seminar.
Participants during the completion of the profile have the opportunity to collect the questions – queries and any difficulties encountered during the first stage of certification.

The second stage includes the follow-up seminar of one day (8 hours) where the following details will be presented:

- Presentation of the theory of the circle model
- Presentation of information collection for the completion of the profile (incident evaluation)
- Segregation in groups of 5 people for discussion of incidents that participants have brought and formulation of queries and questions for discussion by each group
- Commenting on profiles that concern
- Clarifications for the completion of the profile and for the completion instructions
- Reading and interpreting profiles and therapeutic suggestions
- Dissemination of information to parents
- Essay Writing
At the end of this stage will be given a certificate of attendance for the training in the completion of the APKE
The 3rd stage includes the certification process in the use of the APKE and the interpretation of the results.
At this stage the participant can choose whether to proceed either during the application or after the end of the second stage.
This stage can last from 1 to 2 months, time that the participant has at his disposal to complete the required steps. The certification includes the completion of a complete evaluation of a new incident, the completion of the profile according to the results of the evaluation and the writing of a report on the interpretation of the profile and the therapeutic design. The evaluation process will be based on the required tools that have been discussed in the seminar depending on the language profile of the child selected. In addition to the information and the results of the evaluation the participant should have and video recording his own meeting with the child and the evaluation tools he used. Then using the collected information will complete the child’s profile in the electronic application and will write a report interpreting the image of the APKE’s profile and suggesting the treatment.
The child’s profile, the evaluation protocols and the report of the results will be sent to the trainers for their evaluation and the online meeting will be finalised for clarification and guidance regarding the evaluation and Report.
At the end of the meeting will be given the adequacy of use of the APKE in the clinical and will be sent the adequacy. Adequacy is valid for two years. Each certified user will refer to the website of the APKE as well as the space in which it works.
