Ioannis Vgindroukas is Logopedikos, PhD in the psychology Department of the University of Ioannina, with postgraduate studies at the University of Birmingham, School of Education specializing in autistic disorder. He works at the Medical Center B. Greece of the psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, Diadaskei in the postgraduate program of the University of Macedonia Communication Disorders, is the scientific director of the Institute of Speech Research and education and supervisor of clinical Practice of the Panhellenic Association of Therapists-Lang.

He deals with autism and the language and communication disorders that coexist with him, he is a trainer of the language program MAKATON and the CYGNET program, representative of the Intensive Interaction Institute in Greece and the interest Focuses on the wide range of developmental linguistic disorders, specific learning disabilities, factual disturbances and the use of alternative methods of communication.

He is the author of the book “Guide to Educating children with pervasive developmental Disorders” (2005), Traveler Publishing, has produced the language perception and Expression Test (2009), the Expression Vocabulary Assay (2010) and the assay Action Images (2011), published by Glafki Publications, is curator of the “Autism: Positions and approaches” volume of the Panhellenic Association of Therapists-Lang, The Traveler’s Publications (2007), The Intensive Interactive Guide (2010), Publications Traveler and Volume Developmental Language Disorders (2010), publishing Centre, has published and announced its work in scientific journals, collective volumes and international conferences.

He is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Therapists-Lang and a member of the Child Language Committee of the International Association of Phoniatrics and Logopedics (IALP) and MC Μembre of COST ACTION for language disorders in Europe.
